UConn Hockey Adds U.S. U18 Forward For 2016-2017

Thompson, who turns 17 on October 30, will be a member of the United States Development Team Program for the upcoming 2014-2015 United States Hockey League season. The USHL, the top division of junior hockey in the United States, starts play on Friday, September 26.
Thompson spent last season skating for P.A.L. Junior Islanders 16U squad, where he placed eighth in the United States Premier Hockey League U16 division in points per game (1.94). He led the Junior Islanders in goals (17) and placed second in points (31), appearing in just 16 games.
